Retail environments are designed around a combination of user experience drivers and spatial efficiencies. SUPERSPACE developed a web-based simulation to quantify the metrics behind those drivers. The online tool enables fast evaluation of spatial performances that impact the success of shopping malls, airport concessions and urban retail streets. Resulting values are stored in a database for benchmarking and can be visualized according to clients’ KPIs.

Our retail analytics enables the comparison between malls and vertical malls for different urban densities. Atria within malls are taken into account as a specific feature of our software. Neighbourhoods are revealed across multiple floors or within urban malls, so that auxiliary amenities can be planned for.
We conduct bespoke analysis on customer segmentation and competitive analysis of land-use catchments to support the strategy and vision phase. Integrating other consultants’ data enables us to overcome the common disconnect between strategic advisors and designers, testing assumptions and scenarios between phases.
